Brenden Theatres has one foot in the future of movies and one in the past. The company operates seven theaters with more than 90 screens in California, Nevada, and Arizona. Brenden Theatres prides itself on being state-of-the-art, offering stadium seating, glass "Behind the Scenes" projection booths, Internet ticket ATMs, and express concession stands; its Vegas location has a five-story high IMAX theater. The company is owned by founder, president, and CEO John Brenden whose grandfather, Ted Mann, built and ran what is now the Mann Theatres chain in Los Angeles, including Grauman's Chinese Theatre (built in 1926), where the hand and foot prints of Hollywood stars can be found in the cement out front.
