The crude oil refinery of Alon USA Partners doesn't exactly stand alone, seeing as how it's situated right in the middle of the West Texas oil patch. Located in Big Spring with a capacity of 70,000 barrels per day, it powers the company's petroleum products refining and marketing business. The refinery mainly produces gasoline and diesel and jet fuel along with asphalt and petrochemicals, and the company markets them in Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. In 2012 Alon USA Partners was spun off by Alon USA Energy, which in turn is majority-owned by Alon Israel Oil. The same year the company went public through an IPO that raised $184 million.
