Cole Haan Company Description
Cole Haan manufactures footwear and accessories, and is the more fashion-footed subsidiary of Nike. The company operates about 100 Cole Haan stores in some 25 US states and Canada, as well as another 50-plus stores in Japan through Cole Haan Japan. It also sells its shoes, belts, hosiery, handbags, small leather goods, fine outerwear, and watches online and in stores run by other retailers. In 2004, Cole Haan began branching out into high-end accessories (encroaching on Coach) and outerwear and has incorporated Nike "Air Technology" into some of its shoes. Cole Haan outerwear is produced in Florence, Italy factories by G-III Apparel Group. Cole Haan was founded in 1928 in Chicago by Trafton Cole and Eddie Haan.
