You won't find much dirty laundry at Coinmach. The leading US supplier of coin- and card-operated laundry equipment and related services has helped customers do millions of loads of laundry. Leasing laundry rooms in apartments and dormitories, Coinmach owns and operates more than 870,000 washing machines and dryers at about 80,000 locations nationwide. The company also owns Appliance Warehouse, which rents machines to apartment residents, laundromats, and management companies. Subsidiary Super Laundry designs and builds or retrofits retail laundromats and distributes laundry equipment. In mid-2007, Coinmach was acquired by Babcock & Brown, an investment firm located in Australia, for $1.3 billion in 2007.
