Coca-Cola North America Company Description
Coca-Cola North America, a division of The Coca-Cola Company, runs the soft-drink giant's juice, water, and soda business in Canada, Puerto Rico, and the US. The division's brands include Coca-Cola, Barq's, Dasani, Evian, Minute Maid, Simply Orange, Fresca, smartwater, Sprite, and Odwalla. Coca-Cola North America works with a network of independent bottlers, including Coke's largest, Coca-Cola Enterprises, to distribute its beverages. In order to focus on changes in the beverage sector, in 2007 the division was reorganized into three units: sparkling beverages, still beverages, and emerging brands. The North American division accounts for about a third of parent Coke's global sales.
