Claremont University Consortium (CUC) provides administrative and support services (security, HR, IT) to The Claremont Colleges, a group of independent colleges located on adjoining campuses in Claremont, California. The colleges collectively serve some 6,300 students and about 2,300 employees, and include Claremont McKenna (public affairs), Harvey Mudd (science, engineering, and math), Pitzer (social science), Pomona (liberal arts), Scripps (women's college), Claremont Graduate University (liberal arts), and Keck Graduate Institute (applied life sciences). CUC also operates the campus bookstore, library system, theatre, physical plant, computer and science labs, and health and counseling centers.
