Cincinnati Bengals Company Description
These Bengals prowl the jungle of the NFL. The Cincinnati Bengals professional football franchise traces an elite heritage, having been formed by Hall of Fame coach Paul Brown in 1968 as part of the American Football League. It joined the National Football League in 1970 when the two bodies merged and went on to make two trips to the Super Bowl (losing both times to the San Francisco 49ers). A long streak of unsuccessful seasons made filling the stands a challenge during much of the 1990s, but a resurgence of hope in The Queen City has led to more sellout crowds at Paul Brown Stadium. The team is still owned by Brown's family, led by his son Mike Brown.
