Canada is known for its back bacon and poutine, but this company hopes the country becomes just as well-known for its Mellon. Serving some 1,200 institutional clients, CIBC Mellon performs asset servicing functions such as cash management, fund accounting, pension fund administration, benefit payment services, and securities lending through CIBC Mellon Trust and CIBC Mellon Global Securities Services. CIBC Mellon has around C$1 trillion of assets under administration. Established in 1996, the company is a joint venture between Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) and The Bank of New York Mellon.
