As a leading US cooperative marketer of grain and oilseed, CHS represents farmers, ranchers, and cooperatives from the Great Lakes to the Pacific Northwest and from the Canadian border to Texas. CHS trades grain and sells supplies to members through its stores. It also processes soybeans for use in food and animal feeds. CHS grinds wheat into flour used in pastas and bread. Through joint ventures, the company sells soybean oil, crop nutrient and protection products, and markets grain. In addition, CHS provides insurance and financial and risk management services, and operates petroleum refineries, marketing Cenex brand fuels, lubricants, and energy products.
