Some folks will go a long way to drive an American car. Chrysler UK is the UK arm of US-based Chrysler Group. The company sells, markets, and promotes Chrysler products bearing the Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep nameplate. Models include the 300C, Cherokee (Jeep), Crossfire, Grand Voyager, Journey, PT Cruiser, and Sebring. Chrysler UK also provides support services to dealers and customers. The company was formed in 2000 after the acquisition of Chrysler Corp. by Daimler-Benz (now Daimler) in 1998 and renamed in 2007 when Cerberus Capital Management acquired the Chrysler brand. Cerberus and Daimler gave up their ownership of Chrysler in 2009 as the carmaker went through a brief Chapter 11 reorganization.
