Cerebos Company Description
You might never have thought that chickens even have essences, but Cerebos Pacific and millions of its consumers swear by the stuff. Cerebos is best known for its BRAND'S Essence of Chicken, a tonic first whipped up in the 1820s for an ailing King George IV of England and which eventually made its way to British colonies in the Far East. The health-food supplement is made from minced whole chickens that are boiled, strained, and boiled again and available in liquid or tablet form. Cerebos' other food, beverage, and grocery products include Riva coffee, Dominion and Salpak salt, and sauces and condiments made by its Woh Hup subsidiary. Japanese beverage maker Suntory owns approximately 84% of Cerebos.
