Operating as a dual-listed company with US-based Carnival Corporation, it is the #1 cruise line operator in the world, with about 10 cruise lines and more than 85 ships with a total passenger capacity of nearly 170,000. Carnival serves UK passengers (and Australia) primarily through P&O Cruises, while brands such as AIDA and Costa Cruises serve travelers in the rest of Europe. In North America, Carnival operates Princess Cruise Lines, Holland America, and its flagship Carnival Cruise Lines. Carnival also owns ocean liner operator Cunard, which sails the Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria.
