Carnival's feature film Shadowlands (Anthony Hopkins, Debra Winger) was nominated for two Academy Awards. The company's West End theatre productions often provide fodder for its film and TV work. NBC Universal purchased Carnival in 2008 for an estimated $55.5 million.
