Selling its big-name brands Carlsberg, Tuborg, and Baltika, as well as smaller regional and local brands, Carlsberg Breweries is Denmark's dominant brewer; it is also the fourth largest brewery in the world. Its beers are available throughout Europe and Asia. The company also makes and sells Coca-Cola in Denmark and Finland. In 2008 Carlsberg's parent company and Heineken acquired Irish brewer, Scottish & Newcastle (S&N), for $15.3 billion. The philanthropic Carlsberg Foundation controls 73% of the company's voting power.
