Cantor Index, a division of Cantor Fitzgerald, offers online, real-time financial spread betting on stock indices, equities, currencies, commodities, and bond futures. (A spread is a quote between the bid and offer prices for a security or other financial instrument; on Cantor Index, investors "bet" on whether the price of the security will meet, exceed, or fall below a specified price based on the spread.) The company also offers equities traded on margin (contracts for difference, or CFDs) and fixed-odds sports betting. Trading is conducted through another Cantor Fitzgerald affiliate, BGC Partners.
