Overview
From Nova Scotia to British Columbia, from the Yukon Territory to Newfoundland, Canada Post is at the door. The government-owned company delivers more than 11.5 billion pieces of mail to some 14 million Canadian addresses each year. It operates from more than 20 major plants and numerous other processing facilities nationwide, and it maintains about 6,600 post offices. Postal operations account for about 80% of sales. Canada Post also owns controlling stakes in Purolator Courier, a leading Canadian overnight delivery company, and SCI Logistics, which provides supply chain management services.
