Books
Hoover's can trace its inception back to good old paper and ink with its original line of business - reference books. The time-tested line of Hoover's handbooks started in 1990 under The Reference Press with "Hoover's Handbook 1991: Profiles of Over 500 Major Corporations." The book was the first of its kind to provide in-depth detail about companies, industries and the people who lead them.
Over the years, the Hoover's handbooks have persisted, expanded, and to this day continue to provide top-notch data about thousands of well-known and lesser-known companies and individuals that shape the corporate landscape.
In our bookstore, you'll still find the complete set of the annual Hoover's handbooks, along with popular titles like the "The Rich Register", featuring detailed information on the 4,700 wealthiest people in the country. The Hoover's line of books remain an excellent source of reference material, and offer a breadth and depth of information you won't find anywhere else.
