Bumiputra-Commerce Holdings Berhad (BCHB) accumulates customers by accumulating wealth. The Malaysian conglomerate provides banking and financial services to private and corporate customers; commercial and investment banking, small business lending, futures broking, asset management, and life insurance are a few of its more popular offerings. BCHB deploys its services through a host of subsidiaries, including Bumiputra-Commerce Bank (commercial banking) and CIMB Group (investment banking). The company merged with Southern Bank Bhd in 2006. BCHB was established as a family bank in 1924 and listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange in 1987.
