Overview
This company will let you know if you're on the brink of disaster. Brink's Home Security installs and monitors home security systems, including burglar and fire alarms, for more than 1 million commercial and residential customers in all 50 US states, the District of Columbia, and Canada. Through its Brink's Home Technologies division, it provides security systems installation as well as home theatre, broadband, home networking, and intercom systems wiring to new homebuilders. It also provides security system installation and monitoring for multi-family complexes. Formerly a subsidiary of The Brink's Company, it was spun off as a public company in 2008, and is changing its name to Broadview Security in 2009.
