Overview
Renewable energy never gets old to Boralex. The company produces wood-residue, natural gas-fired cogeneration, hydroelectric, and wind energy in Quebec, the northeastern US, and France. Boralex owns and operates 28 power stations with a combined capacity of about 410 MW: seven hydroelectric plants (Canada, France, and the US), six wood-residue thermal power stations (Maine and New York), and 13 wind farms in France. It also manages ten power generating facilities (190 MW of cumulative electricity) formerly indirectly owned by Boralex Power Income Fund. Canada-based paper and packaging group Cascades owns 34% of Boralex.
