Overview
Bollinger Shipyards is a leading provider of shipbuilding and ship repair services along the US Gulf Coast. The company specializes in the construction, repair, and conversion of Navy and Coast Guard patrol boats, oil tankers, and supply and utility vessels such as barges and tugboats. It operates from some 13 shipyards, primarily in Louisiana. Its 40 dry docks have the capability to accomodate ships ranging in size from 100 tons to 22,000 tons. It also has a more than 460,000 sq. ft. facility for contructing vessles indoors. Bollinger Shipyards was founded in 1946.
