Overview
BISSELL's in the business of seeing spots and taking care of dust bunnies. A pioneer in the carpet-cleaning industry, BISSELL Homecare makes a full line of vacuum cleaners, sweepers, steam cleaners, deep cleaners, and cleaning chemicals for home use. Its models include the Powersteamer, Big Green, and Spotlifter machines. The firm sells its products worldwide under the BISSELL and Woolite brand names through mass merchandisers (Best Buy, Target, Wal-Mart), home centers (Lowe's, Home Depot), hardware stores (Ace Hardware), and through BISSELL.com. It entered the deep-cleaning rental business in 2010. Founded in 1876 by Melville and Anna Bissell, the company is still owned and operated by the Bissell family.
