BGL Investment Partners has a big thirst for entrepreneurial companies to support. Banque Générale du Luxembourg (now known as Fortis Banque Luxembourg) set up the firm in 2000 when it spun off its institutional investment business as a separate entity. (The "BGL" in the firm's name comes from the bank's former initials.)
