LONDON --- Cyma Zarghami, prexy of the Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and Family Group, will deliver the keynote address at kids TV mart Mipcom Junior, which runs Oct. 11-12 in Cannes. In her speech, to be delivered Oct. 12, Zarghami will look at how the localization of programs can strengthen global brands.

Peacock revels in U.K.'s Carnival [Daily Variety]

Making its first move into British TV production, NBC Universal has acquiring drama specialist Carnival, whose hits include "Hotel Babylon," for an estimated £30 million. NBC U's London-based international production division, set up last year by longtime NBC exec Angela Bromstad, made the deal.
