Bayside Fuel Company Description
A tree isn't the only thing that has grown in Brooklyn. So has Bayside Fuel Oil Depot, which provides heating oil to customers in New York through its own four Brooklyn terminals, and from two other locations, the 149th Street terminal in the Bronx and the Western Nassau terminal in Nassau County. The company was founded in 1937 as a retail distributor of heating oil, by Sergio Allegretti, In 1965 Bayside Fuel became a wholesale oil terminal operator. It sold its retail business in 2001. Vincent Allegretti, the grandson of the company's founder, runs the business.
