Delivering more bang for a lot more buck, electronics manufacturer Bang & Olufsen has made a name for itself in the high-end audio/video industry. Known better as B&O, the company sells its high-tech televisions, telephones, DVD players, loud speakers, digital music players, and other products in more than 100 countries (the UK and Denmark are the company's largest markets) worldwide. It operates more than 770 B1 shops. Nearly all of the company's products are made in Denmark, and its artistic, futuristic designs have landed the firm's products in the permanent collection of New York's Museum of Modern Art. B&O was founded in 1925 by engineers Svend Olufsen and Peter Bang.
