If you're looking for a place to park a "brazillion" dollars, Banco Santander (Brasil) is there. The bank, which is part of Spain's Banco Santander, provides a range of consumer and commercial financial services through some 3,700 branches, primarily in Brazil's southern and southeastern regions, with a major presence in the states of São Paulo and Rio Grande do Sul. Santander Brasil also offers wholesale banking to large corporations. Additional services include asset management, private banking, and insurance. The company accounts for about a quarter of its parent's revenues, making it the group's largest international unit. Banco Santander and its affiliates own more than 80% of Santander Brasil.
