Subsidiary banks include Cassa di Risparmio di Savona, Cassa di Risparmio di Carrara, and Banca del Monte di Lucca. Other subsidiaries offer asset management and insurance. Banca Carige's roots reach back to 1483. Local foundation Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Genova e Imperia owns nearly 45% of the bank. France's La Caisse Nationale des Caisses d'Epargne et de Prévoyance owns about 15%.
