Avenue Group Company Description
Avenue Group, once solely located in the world of cyberspace, is now traveling along the narrower pathway of the US oil and gas industry. Chairman and CEO Levi Mochkin formed the company in 1999 to invest in Internet, e-commerce, and related IT ventures, but the company is now focusing on the oil and gas sector though the formation of its Avenue Energy subsidiary, which explores for oil and gas in the Appalachian Basin through its Avenue Appalachia unit. Avenue Group acquired a 50.1% stake in Stampville.com (an inactive business) in 2005. Mochkin owns 22.2% of Avenue Group.
