Together with subsidiary Autoroutes Rhône-Alpes, APRR maintains roads that span over 2,225 kilometers (almost 1,400 miles) and connect Paris, Strasbourg, Lyon, and Geneva. The company also manages traffic, modernizes toll systems, and maintains more than 300 rest and service areas along the motorways. Eiffarie, a consortium led by French construction company Eiffage and Australia's Macquarie Bank, owns more than 80% of Autoroutes Paris-Rhin-Rhône.
