Austrian Airlines Company Description
If you're going from Vienna to Vilnius, you might very well be going via Austrian Airlines. The national flag carrier, operating from its hub in Vienna, serves more than 130 destinations in some 65 countries through its Austrian Air, Austrian Arrows, and Lauda Air units. Altogether the carriers maintain a fleet of about 100 aircraft. Austrian Airlines extends its network as part of the Star Alliance, an airline marketing and code-sharing group led by United Airlines and Lufthansa. (Code-sharing arrangements enable airlines to sell tickets on one another's flights and thus serve more destinations.) In addition to scheduled passenger service, Austrian Airlines offers air cargo transportation and charter flights.
