Atlanta Falcons Company Description
These birds keep Atlanta flapping about football all year round. The Atlanta Falcons Football Club joined the National Football League in 1966 and boasts one conference championship in 1998. (The team lost Super Bowl XXXIII that season to the Denver Broncos.) Despite the fact that the franchise has never posted back-to-back winning seasons, the Falcons enjoy a strong following in Atlanta during home games at the Georgia Dome. First awarded to Rankin Smith, the Falcons franchise has been owned since 2002 by Home Depot co-founder Arthur Blank.
