Overview
ASUSTeK Computer is the mother of all motherboard producers. Best known for its massive motherboard production, ASUSTeK (more commonly known as ASUS) also produces desktop and notebook computers, mobile phones, LCD displays, optical drives, servers, wireless routers, and an array of multimedia devices. ASUS was founded in 1990 by its chairman and chief branding officer, Jonney Shih. ASUS takes its name from Pegasus, the winged horse of Greek mythology, representing the inspiration of art and learning. Nearly all of the company's sales come from customers in the Asia/Pacific region.
