ASUSTeK Company Description
ASUSTeK Computer is the mother of all motherboard producers. Best known for its massive motherboard production, ASUSTeK (also known as ASUS) also produces desktop and notebook computers, graphics cards, mobile phones, networking devices, optical drives, servers, Webcams, and wireless routers. The company provides its manufacturing services to computer equipment vendors such as Hewlett-Packard and IBM. ASUS was founded in 1990 by its chairman and chief branding officer, Jonney Shih. In early 2009 the company teamed with Garmin for joint development of a mobile phone product line that will be known as the Garmin-ASUS nüvifone.
