Aspocomp serves the electronics industry by making printed circuit boards (80% of sales), modules (11%), and mechanical assemblies (9%) for handheld devices, telecommunications networks, cars, and other industrially manufactured products. Aspocomp's main customers are Elcoteq, Nokia, Philips, Sanmina-SCI, and Tellabs. The company was founded in 1993 through the purchase of Metalex from the Finvest Group. It operates four facilities in Finland and one each in China and Thailand. Aspocomp manufactures modules and mechanical assemblies on a contract basis to meet the individual requirements of customers.
