Asia Time distributes watch components from Citizen, Seiko, and about 30 other watch makers to more than 300 customers in Hong Kong and China. Its products include batteries, oscillators, and integrated circuits for quartz and digital watches, as well as motors and gear trains for quartz watches. Asia Time also makes a limited number of inexpensive complete quartz and digital watches. Its customers include wholesalers, online retailers, and watch makers that sell mainly in Asia. The firm in 2007 filed for an initial public offering and bought Times Manufacture. It began trading in 2008. Chairman and CEO Kwong Kai Shun owns about 84% of Asia Time.
