Overview
Arval, one of Europe's leading fleet and fuel management companies, is a subsidiary of French banking behemoth, BNP Paribas. The company manages more than 500,000 vehicles and provides services that include fuel purchasing management, accident management, car rentals, and more. Clients range from small businesses to FTSE 100 companies. It has its roots in a transatlantic joint venture with Avis, which combined BNP Paribas' Arval operations with Avis' PHH operations. Operations in the US were branded PHH Arval, while those in Europe took the Arval PHH name. Arval PHH later dropped the PHH and now just calls itself Arval, but it still operates as a partner with PHH Arval.
