Tri-Arrows Aluminum aims to make its mark in the North American and Latin American aluminum markets. Formerly known as ARCO Aluminum, the aluminum sheet maker is now owned by a Japanese consortium led by Sumitomo. Through Logan Aluminum, its 60%-owned joint venture with Novelis, Tri-Arrows manufactures aluminum sheet used mainly by the beverage and automotive industries. Logan Aluminum's offerings include automotive sheet, building products, distributor sheet, food and beverage can stock, and rigid container sheet. Oil giant BP, which acquired ARCO Aluminum as part of its purchase of Atlantic Richfield Company in 2000, sold the company in 2011 for $680 million to the Japanese consortium.
