Aramex PJSC (formerly Arab International Logistics) specializes in express delivery services, and also offers airfreight and ocean freight forwarding, logistics, and household moving services. In addition, Aramex handles distribution of catalog orders for retailers. The company operates primarily in the Middle East and on the Indian subcontinent; overall, it maintains some 240 offices in more than 30 countries. For several years in the late 1990s and early 2000s, the company kept a listing on the NASDAQ exchange; after going private for a few years, it re-emerged on the Dubai exchange (under its new name) in 2005. Aramex, which has been growing through acquisitions, was established in 1982.
