London stock market dips by midday [Xinhua News Agency](21 Jul 2008 08:50:00 EDT)The London Stock Market dipped by midday Monday despite a bit recovering from the push by mining and banking shares. The FTSE 100 was down 39.30 points, or 0.73 percent, at 5,337 by 1300 BST, with Aquarius Platinum rising by 4.07 percent. Software firm Detica was the biggest riser, up 26.07 percent after talking about a takeover offer.
