APN is one of Australia and New Zealand's largest media firms, with interests in newspaper and magazine publishing, radio, and outdoor advertising. In addition to flagship paper The New Zealand Herald, the company also publishes almost 25 regional dailies and 100 community titles throughout Australia and New Zealand. In broadcasting, APN co-owns (with Clear Channel) two radio networks with about 130 stations. Rounding out APN's holdings are the region's largest outdoor advertising network and commercial printing operations. Independent News & Media owns more than 25% of APN's stock.
