Amara Holdings owns hotels and real estate in Southeast Asia. Through Amara Hotels, the company owns the Amara Singapore Hotel and the Amara Saigon Hotel in Vietnam. It opened the Amara Sanctuary Resort on Sentosa Island in Singapore in 2007. Amara Holdings also has interests in more than five specialty restaurants, two office buildings, a shopping center, and two apartment buildings and other residential properties in Singapore. The company is looking to expand its geographical reach by acquiring or developing new properties. It was incorporated in 1970.
