Altova makes software to help customers create and manage XML (eXtensive Markup Language), data administration, UML, and web services tools. Its flagship product is XMLSpy but the company has expanded into other areas and its product line now includes DiffDog, MapForce, SchemaAgent, SemanticWorks, StyleVision, and UModel, among others.
