A subsidiary of the world's #1 natural foods chain Whole Foods Market, Allegro Coffee roasts and distributes its specialty coffees to its parent company's retail food stores, as well as to select restaurants and resorts. The company also sells its coffee via mail order. Allegro Coffee, which roasts more than 2 million pounds of beans annually, buys its beans from farming cooperatives and family-owned farms located in more than 27 countries across and globe, including in South America's Andes Mountains and the highlands of Indonesia.
