Loyalty program AIRMILES Travel Promotions enables participants to translate spending on the ground into travel through the air. Credits earned through the program can be used on flights operated by AIRMILES' parent, British Airways, and more than 100 other carriers, as well as for hotel accommodations, rental cars, and other travel-related services. More than 8 million members have enrolled to collect miles in conjunction with their in-person and online purchases from AIRMILES partners -- consumer products and services companies that have included Lloyds TSB, Shell, and Tesco. (British Airways' frequent flyer program, BA Miles, is operated separately from AIRMILES.)
