PineBridge Investments
Overview
PineBridge Investments hopes to build a bridge towards economic recovery. Previously part of the asset management arm of embattled insurance giant AIG, the company was spun off to Pacific Century Group for some $500 million in 2010. PineBridge manages investments in equities, fixed-income securities, and alternative assets, including hedge funds and real estate. It has some $83 billion in assets under management for its institutional and individual customers. Pacific Century Group is an investment vehicle of Hong Kong businessman Richard Li, chairman of PCCW and Pacific Century Premium Developments. Company management, including CEO Win Neuger, continue to lead PineBridge.
