Agstar Company Description
When farmers grow -- whether it be corn, soybeans, or swine -- Agstar grows, too. One of the largest Farm Credit Associations in the nation, Agstar is a member-owned cooperative, run by farmers for farmers. Loans for grain, dairy, and swine account for nearly 60% of Agstar's loan and lease portfolio, which also consists of equipment and vehicle loans and leases, as well as rural home mortgages. The cooperative also offers crop insurance, and tax and accounting services to its clients in some 70 counties throughout rural Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.
