Ag Processing Company Description
Soy far, soy good for Ag Processing (AGP), one of the largest soybean processors in the US. AGP's chief soybean products include vegetable oil and commercial animal feeds. The agricultural cooperative provides grain marketing and transportation services for its members. The cooperative also offers corn-based ethanol and soybean oil-based bio-fuels, fuel additives, and solvents. AGP processes some 15,000 acres of soybeans a day from its members' farms. The co-op's owners include approximately 250,000 member-farmers in the US and Canada. Mostly Midwestern farmers, AGP's members are represented through about 200 local and regional co-ops.
