BRIEF: Train derailment causes traffic headaches: Union Pacific workers refuse to comment [St. Joseph News-Press (MO)](19 Jul 2008 04:00:00 EDT)Jul. 19--Several streets in the South Side of St. Joseph were blocked off for nearly an hour Friday afternoon after a Union Pacific train derailed near the Bluff View Road crossing. Five train cars carrying coal went off the tracks just after 2 p.m. One car landed on its side, spilling coal near Lower Lake Road. Officers from the St. Joseph Police Department assisted with traffic concerns.
