Formed in 2004, the independent oil and gas exploration, development, and production company is focused on developing opportunities throughout Africa, but has staked its flag in the Gulf of Guinea region to start. The company's portfolio spans the countries of Nigeria, São Tomé and Príncipe, Gabon, and Angoloa. In 2006 the company expanded its operations by acquiring Heritage Oil's interests in the Republic of Congo.
